Terms and Conditions

Last updated: April 11, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the VOXA application (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of Service

VOXA is a voice-first social media platform that allows users to create, share, and listen to short voice posts (maximum 20 seconds), follow other users and build a social network, manage their profile with a voice bio, and block or report users. Additional features — including voice-only direct messaging and group chats, places with voice reviews, and an explore/discover section — are planned for future updates.

3. Account Registration

To use VOXA, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
  • Be at least 13 years old to create an account
  • Have only one active account per person

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Voice Content Policy

4.1 The 20-Second Rule

All voice posts on VOXA are limited to a maximum of 20 seconds. This limit is enforced automatically and is a core feature of the platform. The recording will auto-stop at 20 seconds.

4.2 Voice-Only Communication

VOXA is designed as a voice-first platform. Chat messages are voice-only. Posts are voice-only. This is by design to promote authentic, real-time communication.

4.3 Content Ownership

You retain ownership of voice content you create on VOXA. By posting content, you grant VOXA a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and distribute your content as necessary to operate the Service.

5. Prohibited Content & Conduct

You agree not to post or share voice content that:

  • Is illegal, threatening, harassing, or promotes violence
  • Contains hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or disability
  • Is sexually explicit or involves minors in any harmful way
  • Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
  • Contains spam, phishing, or misleading information
  • Promotes self-harm or dangerous activities
  • Impersonates another person or entity

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines and to suspend or terminate accounts of repeat offenders.

6. Privacy & Data

Your use of VOXA is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy. Voice recordings are stored on our servers and processed as necessary to deliver the Service.

7. Intellectual Property

The VOXA brand, name, logo, design, and underlying technology are the intellectual property of VOXA and are protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without express written permission.

8. Account Termination

You may request account deletion at any time through the app settings. When you do, your account enters a 30-day soft-delete period during which your content is hidden from other users. You may reactivate your account during this period by logging back in and choosing to restore it. After 30 days, your account and all associated data are permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in prohibited conduct, create multiple accounts, or are inactive for an extended period (with prior notice). Upon termination by us, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

VOXA is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We are not responsible for content posted by users.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VOXA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to VOXA in the past twelve months, if any.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from these terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. If informal resolution is not possible, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the applicable jurisdiction.

12. General Provisions

  • Entire Agreement: These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and VOXA.
  • Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
  • Waiver: Failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver of that right.
  • Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these terms without our consent.
